Skippy is Home!

There she sat - the weeds of early autumn reaching up through her frame rails, the gentle moss of time creeping along her hoses, rusty oxidation on every piece of exposed metal.  Beautiful.  I can see her in all her former glory, and in the glory yet to come!

The "Skippy Mack" is home!  All of her body panels, seats, and mirrors fit comfortably in the back of my Chevy van.  She made it over the mountain and now we're all anxious to get to work!

I'm still trying to determine her age.  She's got a low serial number - and some knowledgable folks on the BigMackTrucks.com forum thinks she might be a 50s vintage and not an early 60s like I was originally told.

Stay tuned as we work to get the original Thermodyne running!

Cheers!

SJ
